Ras El Hanout

This is one of the most versatile and joy-inspiring seasonings to add to your kitchen.

What you need:

One teaspoon salt

One teaspoon ground cumin

One teaspoon ground ginger

One teaspoon turmeric

3/4 of a teaspoon ground cinnamon

3/4 of a teaspoon ground black pepper

Half a teaspoon ground white pepper

Half a teaspoon ground coriander

Half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Half a teaspoon allspice

Half a teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 of a teaspoon ground cloves

How to make:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or with a mortar and pestle. Store in an air tight container and let sit for one month. Great year round but especially delicious in fall and winter dishes.
